Update: see posted Comment
Governor Fletcher and House Speaker Jody Richards have struck a deal to pass a massive package of new subsidies for the coal industry, including $300 million for Peabody Energy, the world’s largest coal company. A “Special Interest Session” is expected to start on August 13th.
Join KFTC and our allies in saying NO to taxpayer subsidies for coal!

Last month, on June 22-24, I drove up to Chicago with my friend CJ to take part in the 3rd National assembly of United for Peace and Justice (the largest national anti-war coalition).
