Appalshop Screening at WKU

Another email relay. This one is from Appalshop, the legendary Whitesburg, Kentucky based arts and educational center. Mostly known for their powerful films, they are also the creators of many important books, musical and spoken-word recordings and much more. Anybody who wants to know more about justice issues in Appalachia and abroad should look seriously into Appalshop and what they’ve done. Their own story is especially interesting. This is a rare opportunity to screen a film with the producer/director available for a Q and A afterward.
Attached is a pdf flyer. It should also show up as the next podcast. Please pass this on by using the “Share This” tool at the top of this post.
