Check out this nice little run down of what (potentially) the $68 billion dollars Mr. Bush asked congress commit to the war could get us in energy independence. I think this is a great example of the thinking that is going on right now in a lot of people’s heads. What could all that great war cash be doing here? Turns out it doesn’t have to be in a bucket at the curb to be fair game in recycling. I’m betting you’ll find something in this list that you recently threw in the trash. I did.

This summer was something like a whirlwind of new faces, places and ideas and conflicts. I don’t know if I can figure out where to start. There really was almost too much and I know right now I am regretting not writing more of it down as it happened.
