Planning on seeing Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth? If you live in Arkansas (like your’s trully at BSB) your only chance to see it locally will be at Market St. in Little Rock on June 30th.
I just finally checked out the official website and was very impressed. Organized, clean, professional, dynamic and respectful. I’d like to hand it to Mr. Gore and his crew on this one. Stanley Kunitz ~ 1905-2006

I admit that I had not read much of Stanley Kunitz’s poetry before hearing of his death recently on the radio. But as a reader and a former student of poetry, I had heard the name many times, perhaps from one of the many books he edited as well as wrote. My collection of poetry at home contains none of his books and I found only a few of his poems in my wife’s copy of the Norton Anthology of American Poetry.

Just read this article by Kara DiCamillo on Treehugger.com about our friendly neighbors to the north (that’s Bentonville, if you’re not reading this in Fayetteville, Arkansas).

The nation’s largest grocery retailer has decided to go organic. The New York Times reported today that starting this summer, Wal-Mart will be stocking its supermarket shelves with a lot more organic food.
